Merry Christmas 2005

Twas the night before Christmas and all through the house
Not a creature was stirring EXCEPT for a mouse!
He'd jumped into a canister and got himself stuck
When Beth finally found him he thought he'd run out of luck.
But Beth is an odd one and hadn't the heart to kill
Nor would she leave him outside to fall ill.
She ran to the pet store and bought him a house
After a fairly disgruntled conversation with spouse. (Poor Joe)
The feller now resides in her office on a desk
And is carefully preparing a warm winter nest.
Merry Christmas little mouse. Your lease runs out come spring!
Thanks for putting up with me Joe...again

    I also have a "boarder". He/she wakes Sunny and me up at night when we can hear him scurring around. We've become so used to it we just fall back asleep, yes, even Sunny!
