Winter Escape

Well, it is once again time to pack up and head to Florida for a ten day stint on the beach. We have been taking this trip to the powdery, Tigertail beach volleyball courts for over 12 years. Our group has, in that time, grown older and the game is much slower, but it is still enjoyable and even if the game isn't great - the sunset off the gulf at the end of the day makes it all worthwhile.

Still, I'm going to miss my puppies. I wish there were a way to let them know we're coming back. Thank goodness for my mother who is going to stay with them at our house. She is the best puppy-sitter around and we wouldn't be able to enjoy ourselves if it weren't for her.

Still, I wish Marco were a dog-friendly place. I know Skye would love the beach and its creatures. Maybe someday Skye Pilot!
